Say hello to Julie Fischer-Becker, LMT. An AMTA-WI Chapter member from Racine, Wisconsin.
Julie has been a massage therapist therapist for 12 years, graduating from Lakeside in March 2001. Her business is Relaxation Center. Julie appreciates her membership in the American Massage Therapy Association because "professionals collaborate their collective experiences and formulate the future, based on wisdom. She is an active volunteer on behalf of many organizations, lately working with the community hot meal program, "with great reward."
A little about Julie, in her own words:
I find great joy in my 23 year old graduate student, Lindsey, and economics/political science/African studies student Maggie; both at UW Madison. As well, in the company of family, friends, neighbors, all children, nature and in my office, working.
After 15 years of meditation, studying energy healing and Asian body movements, the benefits of focus and mantras, spiritual connection and compassion are woven into my life and practice.
I am grateful for all who have helped shape me.
Next time you see her, stop and say, "Howdy." AMTA events are a place to make lasting connections.
